Community Spirit Mini-Grants
The Jackson Community Foundation, in partnership with the Consumers Energy Endowment Fund, envisions a Jackson County that is livable and lovable with active residents, attractive public assets, great neighborhoods, and vibrant downtowns. Proposals must deliberately engage citizens in planning and implementing the project.
ELIGIBILITY: All townships and villages in Jackson County, Michigan and the six wards in the City of Jackson.
Proposals must be submitted by the governmental entity, and any grant awards will be made payable to the governmental entity.

GRANT AWARD AMOUNTS: $500 for townships, villages or city wards (until all available funds are awarded)
USES: Eligible projects include community events, beautification efforts, recreational improvements, arts and cultural activities...whatever citizens think is important! All final reports from previous grants must be submitted to be eligible.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications will be accepted until all money is awarded or October 31, 2020, whichever comes first.
DECISION TIMELINES: Applicants will be notified of funding decisions by email within two weeks of submitting a proposal.
GRANT REPORTS: Complete final report as assigned.
