Henry Ford Jackson Hospital Health New Beginnings Scholarship

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital (HFJH) supports lifelong learning. This scholarship provides an opportunity for nontraditional students whose work, family responsibilities or other reasons may have kept them from obtaining higher education immediately after high school, and who are now pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must live within a 25-mile radius of HFJH

• Age 25 or older

• High school graduate or GED recipient

• Plan to pursue an associate, undergraduate or graduate degree

• Accepted by an accredited 2 or 4 year college or university, or an accredited trade school

• Be, or plan to be, a fulltime student who maintains a minimum of 12 credit hours

Scholarship Award: Up to $2,000

​

Scholarship Use: Tuition, books, fees, or other academic expenses

​

Recipient Obligations: Scholarship recipients may be required to submit a written update, participate in an interview after the school year is complete, or participate in a Henry Ford Jackson Hospital event.
