Monica Moser, President & CEO
Monica has built a responsive and growing philanthropic organization since joining the Jackson Community Foundation as President & CEO in 2011. Our team consistently delivers results by developing new ways to connect people who care to the causes that strengthen and build our community. She enjoys spending down time paddle-boarding, biking and gardening. She attained an MBA from Spring Arbor University in 2009 and lives in Jackson with her husband Steven Trosin and their two Australian shepherds, Romeo and Sophie.
Kelly Froedtert, Executive Assistant & Office Manager
Kelly was raised in Jackson, earned her degree at Oakland University, and has spent the past 8 years working closely with the JCF’s Board, Staff, Community Members and Donors. Kelly brings her passion of organization to the Foundation and is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities. She is affectionately known by her co-workers as “the glue” of JCF’s operations. She enjoys being outdoors (preferably near water), and spending time with her family and friends.
Lori is a 4th generation native of Jackson. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in accounting. Before joining the Foundation, she worked as a CPA in Jackson and Arizona, as well as a controller for a local Jackson business. She is currently our Finance Director, and has been with us since 2012. She enjoys traveling with her family, working out, and Michigan summers on the lake.
Dana Ashlock, Program Director
Since 2011, Dana has overseen JCF’s competitive grantmaking and scholarship programs. Through this role, she’s met many residents passionate about improving their community and many ambitious young people pursuing their college dreams. She lives in Brooklyn and is a proud graduate of Jackson Community College and the University of Michigan. Not one to sit home, she is always on the lookout for places to go and things to do with her husband, two children, and friends. She fills her free time on her boat, at the bowling alley, riding her bike, and planning trips … and as often as possible, actually going on those trips.
Cindy Bellew, Scholarship & Youth Advisory Committee Coordinator
Cindy is a life long resident of Jackson. She graduated from Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Her career with JCF began in 2013 focusing on the Myer and Lois Franklin Scholarship along with the Jackson Legacy Scholarship program. Cindy’s passion for helping youth in Jackson led her to take on the Youth Advisory Committee position.
Cindy loves spending time with extended family and traveling to see her children in Virginia Beach and Durango, Colorado.
Lisa McDaniel, Marketing & Communications Director
Lisa has been with the Foundation since 2007. She began her employment as the Executive Assistant and gradually took over the creation and oversight of JCF’s website, Facebook page, and all things marketing. Since 2015, she has exclusively worked as our Marketing and Communications Director with a focus on creating a unified brand and getting the word out about the good works JCF does in our community. In her spare time, Lisa works as an artist creating original artwork. She also enjoys many outdoor activities including landscaping and swimming.
