YAC's Mini-Grant program awards up to $300 to K-12 classrooms. This unique program originated here at JCF and is now replicated around the state. Designed to introduce the concept of a community foundation and our work, students complete a grant proposal and budget. Funds can be used for materials, projects or programs that benefit youth, encourage volunteerism and enhance the school environment. Deadline: October-March

We are proud of our YAC Volunteers!
In addition to reviewing grants, our Youth Advisory committee members volunteer throughout the year in Jackson, County. Pictured are a few of the events they participated in throughout 2017: Daffodil Day at Ella Sharp Park, STOMP Out Suicide, the Priceless Gift Toy Store and making cookies for the John George Home.
