Melissa Eleanor Ernest Scholarship

This scholarship fund was established by family and friends of Melissa Eleanor Ernest. Melissa Eleanor Ernest was anticipating a promising career as an Esthetician upon her graduation from Douglas J. Aveda Institute before her tragic death. In her memory and honor, this fund will support Jackson County residents to pursue a post-secondary degree.

 

Eligibility Requirements   

• Resident of Jackson County, Michigan

• Graduating high school senior, or student already enrolled in and  taking undergraduate classes or returning learner

• Enrolled / plans to enroll full- or part-time 

• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher

• Demonstrates financial need

 

Scholarship Amount: $1,500.00

 

Scholarship Uses: Tuition, books, fees, or other academic-related costs
