COMMUNITY NEEDS FUND - Simplify your giving while multiplying your impact

EFFECTIVE Grantmaking from the Community Needs Fund reflects the ever-changing people, needs, ideas, and issues of Jackson

County, creating the greatest impact where it’s needed most.

Because it has no restrictions, your gift has the potential to support a wide range of issues, causes, and needs as the community evolves now and in the future.

FLEXIBLE Add to your fund at any time. The Jackson Community Foundation can accept gifts of many types of assets, including stocks and real property.

EFFICIENT We handle the administrative tasks of philanthropy—from keeping track of your gifts and grants to sending you quarterly statements of activity—all for a nominal administrative fee.

COMMUNITY-MINDED You want to help this community and its residents thrive. Our staff dedicates hundreds of hours every year to reviewing and evaluating local nonprofits and their ideas to identify and address Jackson County’s needs. All of this information guides the distribution of your funds.  We need you more than ever!

GETTING STARTED You can use cash, stocks, or other assets gifted during your lifetime or at death to establish a named fund, qualify for an immediate income or estate tax deduction, and the Foundation will identify grants and make distributions for you. To donate, please type "Community Needs" in the description box.
