Robert P. Ernest Scholarship

The Robert P. Ernest Scholarship is awarded each year to a valedictorian, salutatorian or student with the highest grade point average of a larger Jackson County high school (149 students or more in graduating senior class). The award recognizes exceptional high school achievement in academics, citizenship and extracurricular activity.

Eligibility Requirements:

Resident of Jackson County, Michigan

Valedictorian, salutatorian or student with highest GPA from a larger Jackson County
high school (149 students or more in graduating senior class). For this year this includes only students
from Jackson High School, Northwest High School and Western High School

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

Participation in school activities and/or sports

Good citizenship, leadership and outside activities including work experience
