Henry Ford Allegiance Health Volunteer Scholarship
The Volunteers of Henry Ford Allegiance Health Scholarship provides an award to a qualified high school senior or graduate. Applicants must be a dependent of an employee of Henry Ford Allegiance Health or of Henry Ford Health System Central Market. Previous recipients are given preference and may reapply through the annual application process if GPA is 3.0 or above.
Eligibility Requirements:

A dependent child of a Henry Ford Allegiance Health or Henry Ford Health System Central Market employee who has at least one year of service

Must carry a 3.0 GPA in the prior two years of formal education

Demonstrate good citizenship qualities in school and community

Students must major in the field of health care.

Preferential treatment will be given to students in their second year and above who demonstrate
a commitment to a specific program

Must be enrolled in a two or four year accredited public/private college or university
carrying a minimum of 12 semester hours or equivalent

Proof of financial need
Renewable: Yes
Scholarship Award: Up to $2,000; More than one scholarship may be awarded
Scholarship Use: Tuition, books, fees, or other academic expenses
Recipient Obligations: Scholarship recipients may be required to submit a written update, participate in an interview after the school year is complete, or participate in a Volunteers of Henry Ford Allegiance Health event
